About Betty Lynn Tims

Betty Lynn Tims studied at the Long Island Drawing studio under illustrator Jeffrey K. Fisher. Her work tends to have a whimsical, childlike feel that relishes an unfinished, loose look that is technically rendered to just the right degree.

Betty Lynn has painted murals in local homes and yoga studios.

Betty Lynn has illustrated a picture book titled, Math + Yoga = No Way! by Lucia Magnoli on the geometry of yoga, as well as an illustrated yoga sequence and coloring pages in Integrating Mindfulness Techniques into the Classroom, written by Betty Lynn Tims.

In addition, she shows her artwork at local libraries.

Betty Lynn teaches privately and has taught art in the public schools.

She hosts studio hours for members and also provides group and private lessons to aspiring artists, both young and old.
