Betty Lynn Tims studied at the Long Island Drawing studio under illustrator Jeffrey K. Fisher. Her work tends to have a whimsical, childlike feel that relishes an unfinished, loose look that is technically rendered to just the right degree.
Betty Lynn has done murals in local homes and yoga studios.
Betty Lynn has illustrated a picture book titled, Math + Yoga = No Way! by Lucia Magnoli on the geometry of yoga.
In addition, she shows her artwork at local libraries.
Betty Lynn teaches privately and has taught in the public schools.
